The signing of the ketubah is an important ritual part of a Jewish wedding. It takes place before the actual wedding, usually on the same day. In Judy and Dan's case, just before the ceremony started the bridal couple, Rabbi Glass, Leibel (an orthodox Jewish man who served as a witness,) and a few close family and friends gather in the piano room to witness the act.
